Emdocam is a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) which acts by inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, thereby exerting anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative, analgesic and antipyretic effects. it also has anti-endotoxic properties induced by E. coli endotoxin.

Product Description

Composition:

Meloxicam 20 mg

Excipients q.s. ad 1 ml

·  Indications of use:

As supportive/symptomatic anti-inflammatory, analgesic or antipyretic therapy in musculo-skeletal / locomotor disorders, acute bovine respiratory disease, diarrhoea in calves and young cattle, acute mastitis in cows, MMA in sows and equine colic

·  Dosage and route of administration:

One IV, IM or SC injection: 0.4 – 0.6 mg meloxicam per kg BW or 2 to 3 ml per 100 kg BW (Dose depends on animal species).

·    Precautions:

·        Do not use in horses less than 6 weeks of age.

·        Do not use in animals suffering from impaired hepatic, cardiac or renal function and haemorrhagic

·        disorders, or where there is evidence of ulcerogenic gastrointestinal lesions.

·        Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

·        For the treatment of diarrhea in cattle, do not use in animals of less than one week of age

  • Storage methods:

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

This veterinary medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions..
