Product Description

  • Composition:

Each   mL contains:

Gentamicin base   3   mg

Ketoconazole   10   mg

Prednisolone base   2.5   mg

Lidocaine HCl   12.23 mg

 

·      Indications of use:

Otomic is indicated for the treatment of acute or chronic external otitis in dogs and cats.

It reduces inflammation, pain and itching and eliminates sensitive bacteria such as Pseudomonas as well as yeasts (Malassezia and Candida) and dermatophytes (Trichophyton, Microsporum canis, etc.).

·      Dosage and route of administration:

4 drops (animals weighing less than 15 kg) – 8 drops (weights greater than 15 kg) in the affected ear.

Interval between doses and duration of treatment: Application is recommended every 12 hours for 7 days or according to the discretion of the acting Professional.

  • Precautions and contraindications:

Do not apply to animals with a perforated eardrum or those with known hypersensitivity to any of its components.

Examine the external auditory canal before applying the product to confirm the integrity of the tympanic membrane. Do not administer together with other substances of known ototoxicity.

 

  • Storage methods:

Store at room temperature (less than 30 °C).
